The Latino Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) is a community-based economic development organization.

LEDC equips Latinos and other DC-area residents with the skills and financial tools to buy or stay in a home, join with neighbors to keep their rental housing affordable, and start or strengthen a business.

LEDC staff has expertise in three main areas: small business development and microlending; affordable housing preservation and tenants’ rights in the District of Columbia; and housing counseling for first-time homebuyers and homeowners facing foreclosure.

LEDC has offices in Washington, DC and Wheaton, Maryland, and works across the DC area, including Northern Virginia.
